Pass The Bucket with Crys Worley
Crys Worley, founder of A.Skate Foundation, mom to Sasha, an 8-year-old boy with autism works full time in the dental field, goes to school, and hosts the A.Skate clinics all over for families who have children on the autism spectrum.
The A.Skate Foundation is a non-profit that allows children with autism to be a part of the social world through skateboarding. They hold clinics for children with autism at no cost to the families, give grants to children with autism for skateboard gear, as well as promote awareness and educate families about the skateboard industry. Five years ago 1:150 children were diagnosed with autism. Today 1:91 children are diagnosed with autism, 1:58 of those being boys according to the statistics on TACA now. Autism, like skateboarding, can be unpredictable and often times unruly. A.Skate embraces the parts of autism that are hard to understand and gives these kids an outlet that is free of rules or judgment, and allows them to be social without being “social”.

Springbreak Snowboards
It didn’t snow in Tahoe for almost the entire month of January. Out of curiosity and boredom Corey Smith decided to attempt to build some handmade snowboards. He was interested in long boarding style in surfing and exploring similar concepts on snow. He wanted to deconstruct contemporary snowboarding down to its simplest element and find beauty in simply turning. "I’ve always wanted to explore and experiment with snowboarding as a physical outlet of creativity," states Smith. So he ended up building some experimental snowboards. When it finally did snow record amounts in Tahoe he was glad it did. These boards provided a completely unique snowboarding experience and opened up a world of terrain previously inaccessible on traditional snowboards. Some of the boards were incredibly functional and some were purely conceptual. All the boards also serve as one of kind pieces of functional artwork.

Trinity Orchestra plays Daft Punk
On 18 February 2011, Trinity Orchestra, the only fully student run orchestra in Ireland, played Daft Punk's album 'Discovery' in Trinity College Dublin's Exam Hall, the first ever live full orchestral performance of the music of Daft Punk. This video features the medley that was played as an encore.

Propelled by the vision of using film as a medium for conveying Swarovski's charisma and grace and mastery of light, as well as a portrait of the spirit of crystal and beyond, the team ventured to Turkey, traveling from Istanbul to a salt lake outside of Ankara. There, they began filming what was to become a tale of brilliance and movement. The result is a beautiful, powerful, and unique cinematic work that will amaze and delight cinema audiences.
